When laying out your acting resume make sure to keep the format simple:

• The font should be easy to read, don't get fancy with the squiggly fonts or the thick fonts.

• Your acting resume should be only 1 page.  You will be stapling your resume to the back of your headshot and casting directors only expect to see 1 page.

• Go through your resume thoroughly and check for typos.

• Keep your credits current, including your training.

• Don't include irrelevant information such as your high school experience or extra work.  (unless this is your first resume and this is all the experience you have so far, then this is ok until you get other credits)

• Finally, do not lie or exaggerate in your resume.
